Watson Pipe Organ Company (“we,” “our,” or “us”) developed WatsonMIDI to help organists and keyboard musicians record, organize, and play back their MIDI performances. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our app.

3. Local Data Storage

All data created within WatsonMIDI is stored locally on your device:

MIDI Recordings

Your recorded performances are saved in the app’s local storage on your iPhone or iPad. These files never leave your device unless you explicitly choose to share or export them.

Service Playlists

Your organized playlists and service configurations are stored locally and are not transmitted to any server.

App Settings

Your preferences (tempo, transpose settings, connection preferences) are stored locally on your device.

4. Third-Party Services

WatsonMIDI uses the following third-party services:

Apple App Store

When you purchase WatsonMIDI or in-app upgrades, Apple processes the transaction according to their Privacy Policy. We do not receive your payment information.

iCloud (Optional)

If you choose to backup your library to iCloud Drive, that backup is governed by Apple’s privacy practices. We do not have access to your iCloud data.

5. Bluetooth & MIDI Connections

WatsonMIDI connects to MIDI devices via Bluetooth or wired USB connections. These connections are:

• Direct device-to-device only
• Not routed through any external servers
• Not logged or recorded by us

6. Sharing Features

When you use the Share feature in WatsonMIDI:

• Files are shared directly from your device using iOS sharing mechanisms
• We do not intercept, store, or have access to shared files
• DRM-protected files remain encrypted during transfer

7. Children’s Privacy

WatsonMIDI does not collect any personal information from any users, including children under 13. The app is safe for use by people of all ages.

8. Data Security

Since we do not collect or store your data on our servers, there is no risk of your personal information being compromised through us. Your data’s security depends on your device’s security settings.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
